 Emergency Care |
| EVC provides emergency care and has a doctor on call after hours. If an emergency occurs, then please call 786-8020, and an answering service will page the doctor on call. There is an additional fee for this service. |

| Consultations |
| The doctors at EVC are prepared to offer consultations on various problems including medical, surgical and behavioral cases. We are here to offer second opinions. Sometimes it is helpful to get one to help develop the best treatment plan for the patient. |

| Medical Services |
| Our doctors provide all medical services to care for you pets needs. We are not specialists, but will certainly refer you and your pet to a facility that can take care of that special need. |

| |
| In House Pharmacy |
| We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, supplements, flea and tick products, heartworm preventatives, shampoos, and a variety of other items for the needs of your pet. |

| |
| In House Laboratory |
| Our in house laboratory provides for serum chemistries, complete blood count, electrolytes, urinalysis, parasite screening, thyroid levels, cytology-including ear swabs, fine needle aspirates, and impression smears. We also utilize outside commercial laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. |

| Radiology |
| We have on site, modern digital X-Ray equipment. These images can be digitally enhanced by magnifying portions of it, changing the contrast, etc, so we can see things more readily than with film. This also enables us to send that image electronically for a second opinion and have second opinion results within hours. |

| Dental Care |
| Our dental services include the oral ATP, which starts with an assessment of the mouth, both when the patient is awake, and then while under anesthesia, a treatment plan, which will include a teeth cleaning, may include extractions, periodontal care, or minor oral surgery. We have state of the art dental equipment, including a dental X-ray tube, and digital imaging, and a new teeth cleaning -high speed air/water drill unit. Our technician is also certified in dentistry. |

| Surgical Services |
| We provide the basic surgical care, but do not offer orthopedic surgical services. We do mainly soft tissue surgery, such as ovariohysterectomies(spay) and castrations,(neuter), exploratories, and tumor removals. We have a relationship with facilities close by, when a specialized procedure is needed. |

| Anesthesia |
| We utilize the safest possible available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older and high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. |
|
| |
| Diagnostic Services |
| We provide some extras such as an ECG service via Cardiopet, enabling us to send an ECG(electrocardiogram) through electronic communication, to a cardiologist for interpretation. We have the Video Vet scope, which allows us to scope ears, and other areas, to give us the view we need, and a Tonopen, to monitor an eye for pressure. |

| Senior Care |
| We provide complete senior care wellness plans which we suggest being done twice annually. Our pets age much quicker than we do, so this is helpful in catching problems early in the course of disease. |

| Nutritional Counseling |
| We encourage good nutrition for our patients, and provide the guidance needed to meet the pets nutritional requirements for each life stage and help you feed the necessary amount of food for growth, maintenance, and performance. We carry the Hills Science Diet, and Prescription Diet foods, and Royal Canin, the hypoallergenic foods, and a variety of treat options. |

| Behavioral Counseling |
|
We provide counseling to our clients regarding behavioral problems which might include inappropriate urination, barking, chewing, separation anxiety, to name a few. We also offer more in depth counseling, for the advanced cases, which might include a house call, and utilizing a behavioral medication, as part of the treatment plan. |

| Allergy Testing |
| We offer testing through a blood test, which is sent to an outside laboratory, and then we present the treatment plan to our client. |
|
| |
| Immunizations |
| We offer our "core" vaccination programs and utilize the safest and most effective vaccine products that are available to us. We customize the vaccination program for each pet. We also send you a reminder via e-mail, or with a postcard, to help you keep your pet current. |

| Client Education |
| EVC takes client education very seriously, and we provide a number of opportunities for clients, that includes our library, client handouts, our clinic website, and our practice management computer software, that helps all of us stay current on your pet's needs. |
