Chris - Veterinary and Technician's Assistant

Chris graduated from MTU with a B.S. in Medical Technology. She worked in the "people" side of medicine and then, as Dr. Mackie puts it: "She crossed over from the Dark Side" to work for us at the Escanaba Veterinary Clinic. Most days you can find Chris with her head stuck in a microscope.

Chris is married and has two children, a daughter Elizabeth and a son David. She also has a black lab Tess, who has the whole family wrapped around her paw. In her free time, Chris enjoys reading, fishing, biking, kayaking and spending time with her family.

Lisa - Veterinary Technician

Lisa joined our Escanaba Veterinary Clinic team in April 2007. She is a graduate of Michigan State University’s veterinary technology program. After working at veterinary clinics in Chicago and Houghton she “retired” to stay at home and raise her two (wonderful!) sons. A move to Escanaba prompted her return to veterinary medicine.

Lisa lives near Gladstone with her husband and a crazy cat, Boris. She enjoys traveling, reading, biking, sailing and spending time with her family and friends.
