Dr.  Mackie
 
Dr. Marlene Mackie, DVM - Owner
 

Dr. Mackie graduated from Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, with honors in June 1976. After 2 years in a mixed animal practice in Schoolcraft, Michigan, Dr. Mackie returned to the Upper Peninsula and purchased the Escanaba Veterinary Clinic. Outside of her career as a Veterinarian, she is active in community affairs, enjoys all sporting activities and loves time spent with family and friends. Dr. Mackie lives with one dog, two cats, a guinea pig and a horse.

   
   
Dr. Bunno
 
Dr. Linda Bunno, DVM - Associate
 

As a 1983 graduate of Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine; Dr. Bunno started her career as a small animal doctor in Utica, Michigan. As the Upper Peninsula called her name, she couldn’t resist returning home to practice Veterinary Medicine. From 1986 to 1995, Dr. Bunno worked part time for Bayshore Veterinary Clinic in Menominee and here at Escanaba Veterinary Clinic. In 1995, she joined us full time to complete our two doctor staff.

   
   
Dr. Chouinard
 
Dr. Julie Chouinard, DVM - Associate
 

Dr. Chouinard is a 1988 graduate of Gladstone Area School and a 1997 graduate of Michigan State University of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation from veterinary school, she completed a six month internship at Foster-Smith Animal Hospital in Minocqua, Wisconsin. In 1998 she established Your Front Door Mobile Veterinary Clinic the first and only mobile veterinary clinic in Delta and Menominee County.
Dr. Chouinard remained a self-employed mobile veterinary practitioner from 1998 until October 2006, when she closed her business and joined her colleagues at Escanaba Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Chouinard is married to Todd C. Chouinard a public safety officer for the city of Escanaba. They have two beautiful daughters, Sydney and Paige. She is the proud pet parent of three dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs and four tropical fish. In her spare time Dr. Chouinard enjoys camping, fishing, vacationing/touring, walking, biking, hiking and teaching her daughters compassion and love for all animals.
